The Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK) basketball edged the host West Valley Wolf Pack (Fairbanks, AK), 61-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Wasilla for a 4A Northern Lights bout on Tuesday, January 14. Grace Christian will play a Warriors team coming off a 63-56 league win over Colony (Palmer, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, West Valley falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wolf pack travel to North Pole (North Pole, AK) to play the Patriots in a 4A Mid Alaska bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-6. North Pole lost 68-59 in their recent non-league bout against Sitka (Sitka, AK)
