Texas High School Basketball - Trenton routed by Honey Grove

The Honey Grove Warriors bounced the host Trenton Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 70-19 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Honey Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the outing with a 11-10 record after their 58-40 league loss to Whitewright (Whitewright, TX).

The Tigers (7-17) will now prepare for their outing against Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX). The Rebels enter the 2A Region II District 14 outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Sam Rayburn routed Bland (Merit, TX), 58-47, in a league outing.
