Vermont High School Basketball - Missisquoi Valley bests Lake Region

The Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Lake Region Rangers to 30 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Enosburg Falls for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Missisquoi Valley will confront a Hornets team coming off a 72-30 non-league loss to North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Lake Region falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT) to confront the Panthers in a Capital game on Wednesday, January 15. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-1.
