Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Nativity BVM routed by Minersville

Minersville Battlin' Miners (Minersville, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), 70-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Minersville upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Battlin' Miners travel to Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to face the Blue Raiders in a Schuylkill County 1 match on Tuesday, January 14. The Blue Raiders enter the match with a record of 5-9. Tamaqua lost 64-37 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA)

The Green Wave now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schuylkill Haven for a Schuylkill County 2 match on Tuesday, January 14. Nativity BVM will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-8.
