Next, the Tigers face the Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Slaton will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 11-9 record after their 72-20 league win over Friona (Friona, TX).
The Mules (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Mustangs enter the 3A Region I District 2 outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Shallowater was overwhelmed by Idalou (Idalou, TX), 59-49, in a league outing.
