The Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) basketball edged the visiting St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME), 72-66 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Richmond for a C South bout on Wednesday, January 15. Sacopee Valley will play a Bobcats team coming off a 56-47 non-league win over Buckfield (Buckfield, ME). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, St. Dominic falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Saints host Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME) to play the Seahawks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. The Seahawks go into the bout with a record of 3-8.
