The Broomfield Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Longmont Trojans to 15 in the Eagles league win on Saturday.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-3 record.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Longmont will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 56-9 non-league win over Niwot (Niwot, CO).
