The Spartans (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Elko prevailed over Dayton (Dayton, NV), 60-21, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vaqueros encounter the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Fernley will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Wooster (Reno, NV).
