The St. Edmund Prep Eagles (Brooklyn, NY) basketball were winner over the visiting Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY), 64-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host St. John's Prep for a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. St. Edmund Prep will play a Red Storm team coming off a 56-34 non-league loss to Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY). The Red Storm record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Moore Catholic falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY) to play the Rams in a bout on Saturday, January 18. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 9-3.
