The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) and the host Adrian Matadors (Adrian, TX), observed Pringle-Morse's basketball team knock off Adrian by a score of 48-34.

The Cougars (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 3 challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Wildorado prevailed over Hartley (Hartley, TX), 48-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Matadors encounter the Texline Tornadoes (Texline, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Adrian will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record.
