Kansas High School Basketball - Bucklin thwarts Attica

January 11, 2025: Bucklin, KS 67834

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS) and the visiting Attica Bulldogs (Attica, KS), observed Bucklin's basketball team knock off Attica by a score of 56-44.

The Red Aces (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Central (Coldwater, KS). The Timberwolves come into the Southern Plains-Iroquois challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, South Central dropped by Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS), 48-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Central Christian Cougars (Hutchinson, KS) in a Heart of the Plains challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Attica will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 53-34 non-league loss to St. John (St. John, KS).
