Nevada High School Basketball - Awaken Christian trounced by Lincoln County

Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Awaken Christian Lions (Las Vegas, NV), 60-21 in a league match.

With the victory, Lincoln County advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Lynx travel to GV Christian (Henderson, NV) to face the Guardians in a 2A Southern match on Tuesday, January 14. The Guardians enter the match with a record of 8-9. GV Christian won 47-46 in their recent league match against Laughlin (Laughlin, NV)

The Lions now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adelson for a 2A Southern match on Monday, January 13. Awaken Christian will face a squad coming off a 69-9 league loss to Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The record now stands at 1-7.
