Georgia High School Basketball - Beach holds off Groves

January 11, 2025: Savannah, GA 31405

The Beach Bulldogs basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Groves Rebels to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Jenkins for a AAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. Beach will confront a Warriors team coming off a 49-38 league win over Johnson (Savannah, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Groves falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Rebels host Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Yellow Jackets go into the game with a record of 0-11. Southeast Bulloch lost 37-21 in their recent non-league game against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA)
