The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) and the host Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL), observed Hinsdale South's basketball team knock off Berwyn/Cicero Morton by a score of 53-36.

The Hornets (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates come into the West Suburban - Gold challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Proviso East was knocked off by Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 52-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 50-21 non-league loss to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL).
