The Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), 81-19 in Saturday's league bout.
The Howlers now possess a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Stearns for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Penobscot Valley will play a Minutemen team coming off a 46-21 non-league loss to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Calais falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Narraguagus (Harrington, ME) to play the Knights in a C North bout on Thursday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-6.
