The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) and the host Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL), observed Nazareth Academy's basketball team knock off Carmel by a score of 49-41.

The Roadrunners (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Hersey prevailed over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL), 44-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Corsairs encounter the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Fillies/Broncos come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 68-35 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
