Arizona High School Basketball - Monument Valley falls to Chinle

The Monument Valley Mustangs basketball squad (Kayenta, AZ), was outscored 53-41 in Saturday's league battle with the host Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ)

With the victory, Chinle advances its record to 17-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ) to meet the Warriors in a 3A North battle on Wednesday, January 15. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 12-6.

The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Monument Valley will meet a Elks squad coming off a 49-25 non-league win over Morenci (Morenci, AZ). The Elks record now stands at 11-7.
