The Pilots (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Jayhawks come into the Bay Counties - East challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Head-Royce prevailed over Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA), 49-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Bentley Phoenix (Lafayette, CA) in a Bay Counties - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. College Prep will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 34-30 league win over Athenian (Danville, CA).
