The Chargers (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The Quarriers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Dell Rapids dropped by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 60-26, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Hamlin will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Cossacks come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 52-48 non-league win over Deubrook (White, SD).
