Oregon High School Basketball - Lakeview holds off North Valley

The Lakeview Honkers basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting North Valley Knights to 35 in the Honkers league triumph on Saturday.
The Honkers now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's for a 3A Southern Oregon game on Tuesday, January 14. Lakeview will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 44-12 non-league win over Douglas (Winston, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, North Valley falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cascade Christian (Medford, OR) to confront the Challengers in a 3A Southern Oregon game on Tuesday, January 14. The Challengers go into the game with a record of 8-3. Cascade Christian won 42-31 in their recent league game against Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR)
