The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the host Orono Riots (Orono, ME), observed Mattanawcook's basketball team overwhelm Orono by a score of 67-42.

The Lynx (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumner (East Sullivan, ME). The Tigers come into the C North challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Sumner trounced Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME), 37-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Riots battle the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) in a C North challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Orono will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
