High School Basketball - Moffat holds off Non Varsity Opponent

The Moffat Cowboys basketball team scored 17 points and limited the host Non Varsity Opponent to 14 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cowboys now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Sangre de Cristo for a 1A Southern Peaks game on Friday, January 17. Moffat will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 39-16 non-league loss to Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Non Varsity Opponent falls to 49-129 on the campaign. The travel to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA) to confront the Centurions in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Centurions go into the game with a record of 5-3. Greensburg Central Catholic lost 62-33 in their recent league game against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA)
