In Saturday's non-league test, the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) basketball squad got by the visiting West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM), by a score of 64-57.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) in a 3A District 1 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Navajo Prep will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 45-30 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).
The Dons (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos come into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Moriarty held off Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 28-21, in a non-league test.
