Utah High School Basketball - Tabiona triumphant over Tintic

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Tabiona Tigers (Tabiona, UT) and the visiting Tintic Miners (Eureka, UT), observed Tabiona's basketball team overwhelm Tintic by a score of 65-23.

The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rich (Randolph, UT). The Rebels come into the 1A Region 22 challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Rich trounced Farson-Eden (Farson, WY), 54-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Miners encounter the Manila Mustangs (Manila, UT) in a 1A Region 22 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Tintic will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 64-44 league win over Altamont (Altamont, UT).
