The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Vanguard College Prep Vikings (Waco, TX) and the visiting Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX), observed Vanguard College Prep's basketball team overwhelm Texas School for the Deaf by a score of 70-45.

The Vikings (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hill Country Christian School of Austin (Austin, TX). The Knights come into the TAPPS 4A District 4 challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Hill Country Christian School of Austin trounced Concordia (Round Rock, TX), 66-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders (Round Rock, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Texas School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 17-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 48-5 league loss to Veritas Academy (Austin, TX).
