In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Elko Indians basketball team scored a close 32-27 win over the Dayton Dust Devils.
The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Spartans come into the contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Spring Creek was tipped by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 42-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dust Devils battle the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Dayton will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record.
