In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Holy Family Tigers basketball team scored a good 40-27 triumph over the Frederick Golden Eagles.

The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mead (Longmont, CO). The Mavericks go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Broomfield Eagles (Broomfield, CO) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Frederick will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 9-0 record after their 39-28 non-league win over Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO).
