The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) and the visiting Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO), witnessed Battle Mountain's ice hockey team defeat Crested Butte by a score of 5-1.

The Huskies (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO). The Sailors come into the 4A Mountain challenge with a 10-2 record.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Crested Butte will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Colorado Springs District 11 (Colorado Springs, CO).
