Next, the Mustangs face the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet test, on Thursday, January 16. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 13-1 record after their 10-4 league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK).

The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their test against West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Wolf Pack come into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, West Valley thwarted Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK), 10-0, in a league test.
