In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Salisbury School Crimson Knights ice hockey team scored a close 5-2 triumph over the Deerfield Academy Big Green.

The Crimson Knights (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA). The Penguins come into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Cushing Academy by Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI), 6-3, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Big Green battle the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Deerfield Academy will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Pelicans come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Kent School (Kent, CT).
