The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) and the visiting East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT), witnessed Simsbury's ice hockey team defeat East Catholic by a score of 6-2.

The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame Prep by Xavier (Middletown, CT), 4-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. East Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-2 league loss to Hand (Madison, CT).
