The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Newington Co-op Indians (Newington, CT) and the host Northeastern Shamrocks (Bolton, CT), witnessed Newington Co-op's ice hockey team hold off Northeastern by a score of 3-2.

The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Wilton got by Fox Lane (Bedford, NY), 8-3, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Shamrocks battle the Enfield/East Granby/Stafford (Enfield, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. Northeastern will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record.
