The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN) and the visiting Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN), witnessed Two Rivers's ice hockey team defeat Simley by a final score of 7-1.

The Warriors (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the Classic Suburban challenge with a 4-7 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Simley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
