The East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) basketball edged the visiting Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), 47-45 in Saturday's league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. East Laurens will play a Warriors team coming off a 55-45 league loss to Warren County (Warrenton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Bleckley County falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Royals host Veterans (Kathleen, GA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Veterans won 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bleckley County (Cochran, GA)
