Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX), saw Palo Duro's soccer squad knock off Amarillo by a score of 3-0.

The Dons (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates enter the 5A Region 1 District 3 battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Lubbock-Cooper by Permian (Odessa, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Sandies confront the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 3 battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Amarillo will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to Monterey (Lubbock, TX).
