Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Brentwood topped by Steel Valley

The Steel Valley Ironmen basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Brentwood Spartans to 37 in the Ironmen league victory on Wednesday.
The Ironmen now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avonworth for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Thursday, January 13. Steel Valley will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 67-25 league win over East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Antelopes record now stands at 6-1.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs come into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Shady Side Academy was defeated by South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA), 34-30, in a league contest.
