The Mark Morris Monarchs basketball team (Longview, WA), was toppled 46-36 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Washougal Panthers (Washougal, WA)
The Panthers now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens battle on Friday, January 14. Washougal will confront a Hawks team coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to Bend (Bend, OR). The Hawks record now stands at 7-3.
The Monarchs (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA). The Eagles come into the 2A Greater St. Helens battle with a 7-2 record.
