Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA), 74-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Academy Park upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Sun Valley (Aston, PA) to clash with the Vanguards in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Vanguards go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Sun Valley lost 57-36 in their recent league bout against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA)

Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Interboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 70-54 non-league loss to Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA).
