With the victory, Metairie Park Country Day improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Cajuns travel to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 15-3.

The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers come into the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Vandebilt Catholic edged Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA), 75-45, in a non-league contest.
