North Carolina High School Basketball - Asheville Christian Academy thwarts Carolina Day

The Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC), 57-47 in Thursday's league test.
The Lions (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Blues go into the NCISAA Carolinas test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Asheville School (Independent) notched a victory over Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC), 67-44, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Carolina Friends for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Carolina Day will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Voyager (Durham, NC). The Quakers record now stands at 8-6.
