The Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) basketball nipped the host Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA), 48-45 in Thursday's league test.

The Bald Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA). The Raiders go into the Mountain test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Bellefonte was tipped by Tyrone (Tyrone, PA), 55-46, in a league test.

The Bearcats now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Juniata Valley for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Huntingdon will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 76-71 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-5.
