In Thursday's league outing, the Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), by a margin of 56-54.
The Spuds (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Duluth East (Duluth, MN). The Greyhounds go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record.
The Lumberjacks now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Elk River for a AAAA Section 8 outing on Saturday, January 14. Bemidji will clash with a Elks squad coming off a 67-64 league win over Rogers (Rogers, MN). The Elks record now stands at 3-5.
