Don Bosco Prep Ironmen (Ramsey, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bergen Catholic Crusaders (Oradell, NJ), 72-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Don Bosco Prep upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-5. Immaculate Conception lost 61-57 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ)

Next up, the Crusaders play the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) in a Big North - United bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Bergen Catholic will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ).
