The Westby Norsemen basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Black River Falls Tigers to 54 in the Norsemen league triumph on Thursday.
The Norsemen now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aquinas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Westby will meet a Blugolds team coming off a 69-48 non-league win over Lena (Lena, WI). The Blugolds record now stands at 10-7.
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bangor (Bangor, WI). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Bangor ran past Tomah (Tomah, WI), 72-54, in a non-league contest.
