The Bloomer Blackhawks basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Thorp Cardinals to 49 in the Blackhawks league triumph on Thursday.
The Blackhawks now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonell Central for a Cloverbelt - West contest on Saturday, January 14. Bloomer will battle a Macks team coming off a 80-76 league loss to Fall Creek (Fall Creek, WI). The Macks record now stands at 11-1.
The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Macks enter the Cloverbelt - West contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, McDonell Central ran past Bloomer (Bloomer, WI), 61-57, in a league contest.
