Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ), 54-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Gill St. Bernard's upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Franklin (Somerset, NJ) to play the Warriors in a Skyland - Delaware bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Panthers play the Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Bridgewater-Raritan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Bard (New York, NY).
