Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cameron knocked off by Northwestern

The Northwestern Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Cameron Comets to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a Heart O'North contest on Tuesday, January 17. Northwestern will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-32 league loss to Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
The Comets (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI). The Screaming Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Chequamegon ran past Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI), 71-56, in a league contest.
