The York Wildcats (York, ME) basketball felled the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 50-36 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Kennebunk was beaten by Brunswick (Brunswick, ME), 61-59, in a league test.
The Capers now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greely for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Cape Elizabeth will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 51-37 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Rangers record now stands at 4-6.
