New Mexico High School Basketball - Cloudcroft knocked off by Dexter

The Dexter Demons basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Cloudcroft Bears to 44 in the Demons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Demons now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cobre for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Dexter will battle a Indians team coming off a 53-38 non-league win over Loving (Loving, NM). The Indians record now stands at 5-9.

The Bears (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Loving (Loving, NM). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Loving was defeated by Cobre (Bayard, NM), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
