Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY), 74-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Covington Catholic upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Colonels host Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY) to play the Bluebirds in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bluebirds go into the bout with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Camels go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 73-48 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).
